JORDAN Tompkins made an explosive start to his bareknuckle boxing career.
The 23 year old decided to ditch his gloves after winning all five bouts for Repton ABC and was chucked in at the deep end on his debut for BKB TM.
Paul Hilz is a veteran of gloved and bareknuckle boxing who has a reputation for winning fights early – but Tompkins blasted him out in only 84 seconds.
They met each other in the centre of the ring and let their hands go. Tompkins landed the cleaner shots in a furious exchange, forcing Hilz to take a knee.
Hilz got up and tried to fight his way out of trouble and again it was Tompkins who got the better of the exchange.
He blasted the Basildon puncher with a right to the jaw that dropped him for a second time.
The fight resumed – but didn’t last much longer.
Tompkins soon had Hilz down again and the fight was waved off.
